Late summer evening silhouette shot of the National Monument of Scotland on Edinburgh’s Calton Hill. The monument dominates Calton hill skyline and is a memorial to Scots that died in the napoleonic wars. Construction of the monument ended in 1829 due to a lack of funding and has never been completed.
