The stately Norfolk Island Pine Araucaria heterophylla can be found on every part of Norfolk Island, and every continent around the world. It is a frequent feature of coastal areas in Australia where it is hardy enough to withstand the salty ocean air. Here in this cropped frame, the pine fronds have dropped from the trees. As their colours change from green to red and brown it has created a vibrant natural palette.
