Aunt Amy’s, Norfolk Island. This old house is one of Norfolk’s first general stores from the Pitcairn era and its remains still stand today. When the Pitcairners arrived in 1856 they resided in the buildings at Kingston. As time passed they slowly moved away to build their own homes on land grants they were given across the island. Utilising the local pine and skills they had developed and brought with them from Pitcairn, properties began to appear over time.
