Bounty Day procession, Norfolk Island. Each year not he 8th of June the Norfolk Islanders reenact the arrival of their forebears at Kingston Pier in 1856. This image was taken from on top of the Civil Hospital ruins looking down over the march leaving from Kingston Pier in 2008. The islanders march from Kingston Pier to the Cemetery in period costume.
