Slaughter Bay, Norfolk Island

Lying 1600 kms east of the Australian mainland lies Norfolk Island, a haven in the Pacific. Surrounded by towering cliffs and beautiful beaches, the island measures just 3 miles x 5 miles and is home to less than 2000 residents. Slaughter Bay is located in the World Heritage listed Kingston area which is one of 11 sites that make up the Australian Convict Sites World heritage property inscribed on the World Heritage list in 2011.
