Eilean Donan Castle, Loch Duich

ABOUT THIS IMAGE
Eilean Donan Castle is one of Scotland’s most photographed and iconic castles. The 13th Century fortress stands on a small tidal island just off the shores of Loch Duich and is one of the country’s most visited locations. The castle is majestic at any time of the day or night, though illuminated after sunset when the crowds have dispersed, the contrast of the castle lights and peaceful loch create a mesmerising composition.
