View toward Jura across the tidal inlet at Gruinart in the isle of Islay. The Paps of Jura can be seen in the far distant horizon. Islay is an island in the Inner Hebrides on Scotland’s west coast, renowned for its many great whisky distilleries. Like most of Scotland’s islands, the weather can change in an instant, and here at Gruinart that’s no different. With the sands changing as the tide comes and goes, and the weather changing minute by minute, the one thing that is guaranteed at Gruinart is that each image will be unique.
