Hidden deep inside Fraser Island lies the magnificent freshwater Lake McKenzie. The pure white silica sands, turquoise shoreline and rich blues of the deeper lake are a magical oasis. Fraser Island is a heritage-listed island located off Australia’s Queensland coast. It is the world’s largest sand island stretching 76 miles and covering an area of over 700 square miles.
