Natural Bridge, Gold Coast

ABOUT THIS IMAGE

The Natural Bridge in the Gold Coast’s Springwood National Park. A natural bridge is formed by falling water that has – over many many years – cut a hole in the roof of the cave below it, rerouting the river through the cave. It is a striking location where the darkness of the cave is gently illuminated by the skylight of falling water. The strong black outlines of the cave are juxtaposed by the velvet smooth water and verdant forest behind.
