Glen Lyon in Perthshire is Scotland’s longest glen, stretching for over 30 miles. Sir Walter Scott described Glen Lyon as the ‘…longest, loneliest and loveliest glen in Scotland”. Many years later that remains an apt description of the area, and it is a pleasure to visit at any time of year.
