The Scott Mopunument is a striking gothic memorial to Scottish Writer Sir Walter Scott. The Monument is 200ft tall and is one of the largest monuments to be built in memory of a writer. It dominates the skyline on Edinburgh’s Princes Street nearly 200 years after. its construction in the 1840s.
